More and more large wind farms are being located offshore. The connection of these windfarms may lead to the construction of AC offshore substations.

The scope of the Working Group,limited to AC offshore substations, is to provide constructive guidelines in order to help developping cost effective practical and sustainable solutions answering the specific challenges of offshore substations.
